Government Auctions
Many television commercial sing the praises of government auctions which sell “seized” property. The commercials claim things like the fact that you can buy a $20,000 boat for $500, or expensive cars for $100.00. This may, in fact, occur, however, myself and everyone I know who has attended one of these auctions have found nothing but junk. The ads may be telling the truth but it must be a rare occurrence when someone purchases such an expensive item for so little money.
No professional car dealer should waste his/her time at government auctions but that is only my opinion based on my experiences. You may find that they can provide profits for you. My best recommendation is to avoid paying $199 for a list of government auctions, as advertised on television, because if you look in the classified sections in your local newspapers, you will find the government auctions listed as to place and time. So don’t throw your money away on something you can get for free.
